Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden

I was so proud of myself - I planned and took this whole trip by myself. I loved it - I felt so accomplished! I told myself that if I got even just one good shot, then the whole thing would be worth it. There were quite a few times, however, that I wished someone was with me because it would have made such an awesome pic (for example...the stone something or other in the 9th pic from the bottom. If someone had been with me (I'm picturing a girl in a white dress) I would have had her sit on the stone, with her legs bent, knees propped up beneath her chin, arms wrapped around her legs, crossed at the ankles. Her head would have been down, but her eyes straight on the camera, and she would have had long hair that blew back in the wind.) Yep. If only someone had been with me...but I must say, I felt very independent, which is just as rewarding. : )
